How to install SSL in whm cpanel

We can use the cpanel interface to install SSL to the domain. Make sure you have purchased the ssl for your domain.
By using TWO ways we can install the ssl in domain.

1. Enter certificate’s domain.
2. Browse Certificate.

Go-to : Home >> SSL/TLS >> Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain

1. Enter certificate’s domain.

If you biught the ssl certificate from some other ssl issuer, you can use this option.

Step 1 : Enter your domain in the Domain text box. The Autofill by Domain button will appear.

Step 2 : Enter the certificate’s information in the appropriate text boxes, or click Autofill by Domain to automatically populate the certificate information text boxes.

Step 3 : Select the Enable SNI for Mail Services checkbox. Mail SNI configures mail services to use the domain’s SSL certificate instead of the server’s default certificate.

Step 4 : Click Install.

2. Browse Certificate.

IF you bought the ssl certificate in your same whm server you can use this option.

Step 1 : Click Browse Certificates. The SSL Certificate List window will appear.

Step 2 : Select an account from the Browse Account menu, or select Browse Apache.

Step 3 : Select the desired certificate.



Step 4 : Click Use Certificate. The system automatically populates the text boxes.

Step 5 : If the domain does not use a specific dedicated IP address, select an IP address from the IP Address menu.

Step 6 : If you selected a purchased SSL certificate, you may need to complete the Certificate Authority Bundle (optional) text box. If the system does not populate this text box with information, contact the organization from which you purchased the certificate.

Step 7 : Select the Enable SNI for Mail Services checkbox. Mail SNI configures mail services to use the domain’s SSL certificate instead of the server’s default certificate.

Thats all to install SSL on your site. To check this run your site with https://

How to auto redirect Http to Https :

I just added the below coding in my htaccess files. So it will automatically redirect my site from http to https.

// Make sure RewriteCond && RewriteRule is immediate next to RewriteEngine.

Thats it, Now however you give your site, it may be http://yourdomain.com it will redirects to https://
